- Jan 17, 2018 - Leupold makes a number of scopes without the gold ring. The serial numbers to this chart, if not here then a call to Leupold would be in order.
This is a discussion on Leupold Counterfeit Warning within the Optics forums, part of the Firearm Forum category; Here is a link from the official Leupold website listing the authorized online dealers. Leupold - Online Retailers...
I have purchased other Leupold scopes only after calling them to verify the serial number. Caveat emptor Liberty Optics and SWFA (here in Texas) and SWFA has their own line of 'Super Sniper' scopes.

Location: a free state, USA | Thanks for the link... ScopesNmore conspicuously absent from that list... That does not automatically mean they are not an authorized dealer...however, it sure as hell doesn't confirm they ARE...!!! Discount prices + no phone number = not sure yet...lol There price on Leupold scopes is about 10% off MSRP in what seems like across the board...plus free shipping...virtually everyone else is dead on full MSRP with many having free shipping... So has anyone bought from Scopes N More ... was is a Leupold... I suppose I should send an email to Leupold...however, I have found that very few manufacturers and retailers return emails or answer the phone or return calls in the gun industry... I did send Scopes N More an email asking a few simple questions and got no reply... Looks like Larry wins the day once again...lol... |
